| HISTORY (list previous staff or board action(s) with dates if possible) | At the August 26, 2021, meeting the Board discussed the State Funding for Full Day Kindergarten, Transitional Kindergarten, and Pre-School Grant. On March 10, 2022, the Board approved Resolution No. 21-22-016: Intent to Offer or Expand Full-Day Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten, and Authorizing Projects and Filing of Applications for Funding under the California Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten and Full-Day Kindergarten Facilities Grant Program, and the Board received an update at the June 2, 2022, meeting.
More recently, the Board received an Update on the Financial Hardship Application Submitted for New Classrooms at Grant Elementary School on August 3, 2023, and Approval of the Proposed Grant Classroom Addition and Finding that the Project is Exempt from CEQA on August 24, 2023.
